Delphin Oxi Booster
You use Spa Oxi Booster because it is a very effective shock agent for spa pools. Contains a powerful combination of active oxygen and chlorine that is very fast-acting and clarifies the water effectively and in a short time. Use Booster primarily for shock treatment after e.g. high bathing loads or at start-up, but you can also use OxiBooster as a long-term chlorination.
You can advantageously use Oxi Booster instead of other types of chlorine for hot tubs. Thanks to the special mixture of chlorine and active oxygen in the same package, you first get a powerful disinfection effect in the water thanks to the chlorine, and then the active oxygen helps to break down the chloramines (bound chlorine) that arise when the chlorine works in the water.
Dosage
To shock the bathing water, add 20 - 30g (4 - 6 teaspoons) of granules per 1000 litres of bathing water.
For long-term chlorination, add 30g (6 teaspoons) of granules every 3 to 6 days per 1000 litres of water.
Recommended values
You should therefore pay close attention to the dosage and also regularly check and adjust the chlorine, pH and alkali levels to the recommended values:
Chlorine content 1,0-3,0 mg/l;
pH 7.0-7.4;
Alkalinity 80-120 mg/l.
An excellent and affordable digital measuring instrument is Scuba 2.
Maintenance
Change your bath water regularly and clean the spa itself. Clean the built-in pipework 3-4 times a year with Delphin Pipe Cleaner. After cleaning, change the filters or clean them thoroughly.
Filter cartridges
For your daily operation of the spa, you can advantageously have double filters. This allows you to quickly switch to clean filters. When using one cartridge as a filter, make sure to clean the other filter. After a week of use, replace the dirty cartridge with the clean one. But of course. How often you need to change depends on how often you bathe, so the need to clean and change filters will vary.
