Instructions for use Spa Bromsalt
First, measure the alkalinity and pH of the bath water and adjust if necessary.
Then you need to follow the instructions from the manufacturer of the bromine generator. As a rule of thumb, 1.1 kg of Delphin Spa Bromine Salt is considered sufficient for 1000 litres of bathing water.
- Before adding salt to the bath, dissolve the salt in a bucket of lukewarm water.
Add the water first and then add the Bromine Salt to the bucket of water.
Then pour the solution into the filter compartment or directly into the bath. - Important! When using a bromine generator, you must measure the pH value regularly and if the value is too high, you must adjust the strength downwards and change some of the bath water. Regularly measure the bromine and pH value of the spa with test equipment. The appropriate bromine value is 2.0-4.0 mg/l.
Keep in mind that some manufacturers indicate that you should first add Spa Lime Stabiliser before adding Bromine Salt and running the bromine generator.
Shock the water
When using Bromine Salt in the spa, you can add Oxi Booster or SpaChock at any time for shock chlorination and as a result, you will have clear and bacteria-free bathing water.
Recommended values
You should therefore pay close attention to the dosage and also regularly check and adjust the bromine, pH and alkali levels to the recommended values:
Recommended brake value:
- With ozone plant: 2.0 - 3.0 ppm
- Without ozone plant: 3.0 - 4.0 ppm
pH 7.0-7.4
Alkalinity 80-120 mg/l
Maintenance procedures for spa baths with brominator
A brominator may need to be cleaned between rounds, so use Saniklar Safety Cover & Chlorinator Cleaner
