pH Down Granular (powder)
You can use SpaCare pH Down Granular to keep your bath water in balance.
Therefore, you should measure the pH value at regular intervals because an incorrect pH value results in poorer bathing water. If you have measured your pH value higher than 7.4, we recommend that you use pH Down to lower the pH value.
Instructions for use:
You should start by measuring and recognising the pH of the water with a test instrument or test strips. At pH 7.0-7.4, the water feels nice and comfortable when bathing.
If the pH is above 7.8, add pH Down.
If the pH value is too high after measurement and you want to lower the pH by 0.2 in 1000 in the bath water, add 9 g = 6 ml of pH Down Granular.
If you want to lower the pH 0.6 in 1000 litres of water, add 22 g = 15 ml of pH Down.
Carefully sprinkle the amount of SpaCare pH Down to be added to the bath water while the massage pump is on.
Repeat the measurement of the pH value and after 3 minutes measure the pH value again.
Repeat the treatment if necessary by adding another dose of SpaCare pH Down Granular until the pH value is between 7.0 and 7.4.
If you use soft water, such as surface water, it may be necessary to adjust the alkalinity of the bath water with SpaCare Alka Up or SpaCare Calcium Up.
Recommended values
You should therefore be careful with the dosage and you should also check and adjust the chlorine, pH and alkali levels regularly to the recommended values:
Chlorine content 1,0-3,0 mg/l;
pH 7.0-7.4;
Alkalinity 80-120 mg/l.
