DELPHIN MultiTab 200g
200 gram slow dissolving chlorine tablet, with 87 % active chlorine, algaecides and flocculants. pH neutral and lime free. Easy to dose, placed in the stream drain or via a dosing float.
PH Minus is first used to keep your bathing water in balance. It is important that you measure the pH value at regular intervals - preferably at least once a week.
If the water has a pH value above 7.4, we recommend that you use pH Minus Granular, powder, to lower the pH value because high pH values result in poorer chlorine disinfection, skin irritation, lime precipitation and turbidity.
Instructions for use
Start by adjusting the pH value. This is measured with a pool tester/test strips. At pH 7.0-7.4, the water feels nice and comfortable when bathing.
If the pH is above 7.4, add Minus Granular.
Carefully sprinkle the amount of PH granules to be added to the bath water while the circulation pump is on.
Repeat the treatment if necessary by adding another dose of pH Minus until the pH value is between 7.0 and 7.4.
When the PH value is in balance, MultiTab is added. At the start of the season: Add 1 tablet of MultiTab 200g per 20,000 litres of water. Then add a new tablet when 10% of the old one remains. With the help of this tablet, the management of the pool chemistry becomes extremely simple and the need to add daily chlorine disappears as MultiTab dissolves slowly and contains algaecide, flocculant and chlorine in the same unit.
Recommended values
You should therefore pay close attention to the dosage and also regularly check and adjust the chlorine, pH and alkali levels to the recommended values:
Chlorine 1,0-1,5 mg/l;
pH 7.0-7.4;
Alkalinity 80-120 mg/l.
General Management
The basis of good bathing water is the mechanical purification of the water. Make sure to clean the pool often and backwash the filter once a week (more often if necessary).
1. Keep the pool filter clean. The pool's filter system is essential for good water quality. Clean the filter regularly. A sand filter needs regular backwashing and the filter sand should be changed every two years. If you have a cartridge filter, clean the cartridges or replace them regularly. For cleaning filter cartridges and filter sand, use DELPHIN Filter Cleaner.
2. remove coarse dirt. Use a surface water or bottom bucket to remove coarse dirt. Clean the bottom of the pool with a bottom vacuum or pool robot.
3. remove grease marks and oil or soot contamination. These contaminants are usually found at the waterline. They are best cleaned with DELPHIN Cleaner Gel and an edge cleaning sponge. Leave the gel to work for a while for better results.
4. remove lime deposits or dried-on coatings. Remove pool wall and bottom deposits and brown stains with the acidic cleaner, DELPHIN Poolrent. Use a sponge or brush that is soft enough not to damage the pool liner. To remove deposits, it is usually necessary to lower the water level. For in-ground pools, it is important to consider stability. Rinse the pool thoroughly with fresh water before refilling it to avoid foaming.
