Algaecides are used to prevent the growth of algae in the pool.
If you already have algae, treat it with shock chlorination according to the instructions on the jar.
Mix the dose in a bucket or watering can with water. Don't forget to add the water to the bottle first and finally the Algifix Standard. For best results, sprinkle the solution along the edge of the pool and leave the pump running to allow the mixture to circulate.

If there is a lot of algae growth, a slightly higher dosage is needed. The same applies in sunny and warm weather.
