Chlorine test AquaChek
Digital display of Free Chlorine / pH / Total Alkalinity (and Bromine)
This is not a precision instrument but a very good and simple meter for Chlorine.
For pH measurement, we recommend a separate pH meter. All types of sticks are poor at showing accurate pH values.
The same type of stick as for manual measurement, but if you have difficulty reading manually, this is an alternative.
Like all measurements with sticks, the uncertainty is greater with the measurement of pH.
If you're looking for a more reliable method of measurement, you'll have to spend another thousand pounds and buy a photometer.
NOTE also measures the brake value, see user manual.
Bromine - Ideal Reading: 2.0 - 6.0 ppm To obtain bromine result, multiply free chlorine value by 2.2.
Includes 25 test strips. Powered by 2 AA batteries (batteries not included).
Important: - Press start while immersing the test strip in the bath water.
- Do not hit or spin the test strip when lowering it. Simply lower the strip and remove it.
- The test strip should not slide along the glass.
- Make sure the pads on the strip point downwards when you place them on the meter.
- Wipe the meter thoroughly and clean the channel between tests, especially if you perform several tests in a row.
Never measure in direct sunlight.
Carefully dry the sight glass after measurement.
