SpaCare SwimSpa products are designed for use in swim spas and other baths with a water content of at least 5,000 litres. In addition to Slow Chlorine Tabs there are the following SpaCare SwimSpa products available: pH-Down Granular, pH-Up Granular, Quick Chlorine Tabs, Spa Protect.
SpaCare SwimSpa Slow Chlorine Tabs is a superb 125 gram chlorine tablet that dissolves slowly and as a result you will have an easier time maintaining your swim spa.
The tablet is placed in a tablet holder in its bag/film because the tablets dissolve over a longer period of time. This ensures that there is always enough chlorine in the water to remove any bacteria.
This chlorine tablet is thus easy and effective to use and has a small but fresh chlorine scent.
SpaCare SwimSpa Slow Chlorine Tabs, a 125g chlorine tablet that dissolves slowly and guarantees water hygiene in
swim spas and large baths with a water content of over 5000 litres.
Place the tablets in tablet holders, adjust the opening for proper distribution of chlorine. Avoid over-chlorination if the chlorine level rises above 3 mg/l, turn down the openings of the tablet holder. If the chlorine level continues to rise, remove the tablet holder from the swim spa and place it in a clean bucket until the chlorine level is once again below 3 mg/l.
You should never add SpaCare SwimSpa Slow Chlorine Tabs directly to the swim spa as this can cause discolouration of the bath.
You should therefore pay close attention to the dosage and also regularly check and adjust the chlorine, pH and alkali levels to the recommended values:
Chlorine content 1,0-3,0 mg/l;
pH 7.0-7.4;
Alkalinity 80-120 mg/l.
Change your bath water regularly and clean the spa itself. Clean the built-in pipework 3-4 times a year with SpaCare Biofilm Cleaner. After cleaning, change the filters or clean them thoroughly.
For daily operation, use dual filters that allow you to quickly switch to cleaned filters. When one cartridge is used as a filter, the other is placed in a cleaning tube, added with SpaCare Filter Cartridge Cleaner. After a week of use as a filter, the dirty cartridge is exchanged for the clean cartridge in the cleaning tube.
If you treat your bath water with SpaCare SwimSpa Slow Chlorine Tabs, you can add SwimSpa Quick Chlorine Tabs at any time for shock chlorination and as a result, you get clear and bacteria-free bathing water.
